ABOUT US
From First-Year to First Job—Partner with Oasis to Elevate Student Outcomes
At Oasis Strategic Consulting LLC, we specialize in educational interventions and strategic support designed to enhance academic outcomes and ensure the successful transition of college students from enrollment to graduation—and beyond. We partner with colleges and universities to introduce high-impact practices that empower students, faculty, and academic support staff to create environments where all learners can thrive.
Our services are especially effective for students navigating critical transitions—whether from high school to college, from classroom learning to research engagement, or from college to the professional workforce. We provide targeted support for helping students move from dependent to independent learning models, thrive in both theoretical and applied research settings, and develop the professional competencies needed to stand out in the workplace.
If you are an educator in higher education working with students in transition—especially first-year students as part of a summer bridge program, pre-arrival orientation, or first-year seminar—our products can be instrumental in supporting your student retention and matriculation goals. Likewise, if you are a high school teacher or administrator working with seniors on college readiness, our resources serve as a powerful follow-up to SAT prep or AP courses, helping students build confidence and skills essential for collegiate success.
Let us help you enhance retention, student engagement, and post-graduate success. Whether you're leading a summer bridge program, overseeing undergraduate research, or supporting career services, Oasis Strategic Consulting LLC is here to help your students—and your institution—thrive.

Dr. Gersie’s work is grounded in both evidence-based strategies and his own lived experience navigating educational systems that did not always have the resources to fully support high-potential learners. As shared in his personal blog story, this journey has shaped his passion for helping students—particularly those from under-resourced or underestimated backgrounds—overcome systemic barriers and pursue their highest educational aspirations.
By leveraging high-impact practices that are research-tested and results-driven, Dr. Gersie specializes in helping students move beyond K-12 environments that emphasized dependent learning. His approach supports students in becoming self-directed, self-nurtured learners who build self-efficacy, silence imposter syndrome, and gain the confidence to thrive—whether in the classroom, research lab, or professional world.
